Region

In the Tagus region we find three distinct production areas - the terroirs, known as Campo, Bairro and Charneca. 

The vineyards of Quinta do Casal Branco are located in Charneca. Charneca is located to the south of the countryside, on the left bank of the River Tagus. Its sandy, moderately fertile soils have the potential to produce both red and white wines.
